Lee Ann Wainwright is a Corporate Affairs Advisor for Chevron Appalachia. In addition to managing the company’s community affairs in West Virginia, Lee Ann leads the company's STEM education & Workforce Development investments across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. She was recognized for her work by the Pittsburgh Business Times with a Women in Natural Gas Leadership (WING) award and as a member of the 2018 40 under 40 class.
Lee Ann received her undergraduate degree in advertising and public relations from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio and her master’s degree in public relations from Kent State University. She is an active member of the Marietta College Alumni Association and often travels to back Marietta to be a guest speaker in the public relations and leadership courses.
A passionate advocate for all things STEM education and workforce development, she currently serves on the Remake Learning Council, the Carnegie Science Center STEM advisory board, the National Tooling & Machining Foundation, the PA Department of Education’s STEM advisory board and is the co-chair of the Tri-State Energy & Advanced Manufacturing Consortium.
Originally from southeast Ohio, Lee Ann now resides in Oakdale, Pennsylvania with her husband Sean and her two children Finnley and Lydia.
